Before you start:

Preheat oven to 350°F
Set aside two mixing bowls, one medium and one large
Grease an 8-inch square baking pan


3/4 cup almond flour
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup stevia or other sugar substitute
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup 90 percent crumbled dark chocolate

  1. Combine almond flour, salt, stevia, cocoa powder, and baking powder in the large bowl.
  2. Combine and whisk eggs, butter, and vanilla in the medium bowl.
  3. Add the whisked mixture from step two to your dry almond flour mixture. Stir.
  4. Mix in the crumbled dark chocolate to the brownie batter.
  5. Pour the batter into your greased baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Test brownies to make sure they have cooked through. Let cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
